The Michelin Latitude Sport 3 is a high performing premium tyre suited for 4x4 and sport utility vehicles. These tyres are extremely long lasting thanks to the robust nature of the tyre and other innovative features.
Robust build
The Michelin Latitude Sport 3 has been engineered with a two-ply carcass and an innovative tread compound giving the tyre a rigid structure that can cope with a variety of different terrains.
Excellent we grip
A new rubber compound consisting of a mix of silica and the newest generation of elastomers offers an excellent level of traction with the road, enhancing wet traction with the road, especially when cornering.
Reduced braking distance
Due to the rubber compound enhancing traction with the road, braking distance has been greatly reduced. Michelin have put the Latitude Sport 3 to the test and the result has been a decrease of braking distance on wet roads by 2.70 meters, making it a very safe tyre.
This pattern may be suitable as Original Equipment for a number of different car manufacturers. If you are unsure what the symbols mean within the tyre search results, please head over to our tyre symbols guide.

Good value against performance especially grip in the rain and snow
The shoulders are showing signs of wear and only travelled around 1000 miles. The tracking was checked when the tyres were fitted.

Tyres seem to have lasted well and you feel much safer on the road when conditions are wet. Noose levels are not too bad and the ride is pretty smooth.
I haven’t really found any dislikes after a year of using the same tyres. Obviously during all the lockdowns I haven’t driven it as much as I would of liked.

Road grip in wet and snowy conditions
Upon inspection by National the canvas on the inside wall of one of the tyre’s (offside front) was showing although the tread was approximately 3 mm deep. Annually should get approx 20,000 miles but I got 14,500. May be it’s my style of driving.

Not used enough to give general viewpoint.
As above, but at the moment they seem to be functioning similar to the Yokohama Geolander tyres fitted to car from new. Complete set of tyres latest 100000 miles lets see how Michelin compare.

Have been using very similar Michelin tyres from Kwik Fit but value for money is better with recently purchased tyre from National.
Nothing so far as they are relatively new.
