We're working to keep our nation's Essential Workers on the road. The Government recently released information regarding a phased return to work for Essential Workers. If you fall into the category of an Essential Worker please consider yourself one of our top priorities.
Priority Service for Essential Workers
As one of our priority customers, when you visit one of our branches, you'll be served first and we'll work to get your car back on the road as soon as possible. Similarly, if you are an Essential Worker and require assistance on the road from one of our Mobile Tyre Fitters, simply book in with us and we will prioritise your job.
Spread your payment over 6 months
This is a very stressful time and we are all worrying about both the health implications and the financial burden this pandemic may have on us. With that in mind we've extended our Payment Assist plan from 3 months to 6 months to help relieve financial pressure. That means if you spend between £250 - £1000 on selected products or services at National Tyres and Autocare, you'll pay just 16% now and spread the balance equally over the following 5 months with interest free payments and no fees. There are no credit checks or lengthy forms to be completed, so as long as you have a UK-registered debit card with sufficient funds to cover the 16% initial deposit, you can take advantage of the scheme.
Who are priority customers?
Priority customers include but are not limited to doctors, nurses, midwives, paramedics, pharmacy staff and those approved under the NHS Volunteer Responders Scheme, social workers, care workers, nursery and teaching staff, police and support staff, prison staff, armed forces, fire and rescue service, vital retail and supermarket workers, utilities and telecommunications employees, postal, transport and delivery services as well as those deemed Essential Workers by the Government. We are aware of those who need to be mobile and on the road for a variety of other reasons and therefore we remain open and available to EVERYONE. We ask that you are patient if we need to prioritise those keeping our nation moving during this time, when you visit.

Our new social distancing procedures
Please be assured that all of our staff routinely wear protective barrier gloves, fit seat covers and use floor mats before working on customer's vehicles. Technicians work on ramps that are suitably spaced apart and customers do not need to interact with staff in the workshops space. As an additional precaution and to minimise contact with staff and other customers, you have the option to call the branch when you arrive rather than coming in to our reception area. We will see priority customers in order of arrival and you can remain in your vehicle until we are ready to begin work. You may wait in our reception area or if you prefer to leave the premises, we will give you a call to return when work is complete.
We are also making sure that all branch staff understand the role each of us can play to help prevent the spread of germs, including thorough hand washing, avoiding contact with people who are ill and, of course, staying at home if they are not well. We share everyone's concerns in this unsettling period and will do everything we can to keep you and our staff safe while working on your vehicle.
