Michelin’s Agilis Alpin tyre is a Premium Winter Touring Tyre designed for vans and light trucks.
Its symmetrical tread pattern provides excellent rolling resistance (longevity), wet braking performance and superior handling in dry conditions, but it really excels on snow covered roads where it delivers high levels of traction and acceleration, thanks to its widely spaced tread blocks and open shoulders.
Michelin claim the Agilis Alpin delivers a minimum of 10% more mileage compared to the average mileages of competitor products.
Michelin uses the same abrasion resistant rubber compound in these reinforced tyres as it does in its class-leading truck tyres and its larger, squarer contact patch puts 27% more rubber in contact with the road – great for snow and ice grip.
The Agilis Alpin features Michelin’s ‘Stabiligrip’ technology which enables its sipes to grip the snow like a claw and gives the tyre greater stability.
As you would expect from a tyre of this quality, the Agilis Alpin features dual-casing architecture and eight sidewall shields to provide optimal protection against the demands of daily use.
This pattern may be suitable as Original Equipment for a number of different car manufacturers. If you are unsure what the symbols mean within the tyre search results, please head over to our
