The Continental Winter offers fantastic performance in even the most difficult of wintry conditions such as ice, snow or heavy rain. Aquaplaning has been significantly minimised due to effective water dispersion. Braking distances have been shortened due to the excellent levels of grip. This helps significantly improve safety and control. In terms of driver comfort, this has been enhanced due to a reduction in tyre noise levels and vibrations.

They have not been tested very much on snow and ice this winter but I have driven on flooded roads due to the incessant rain since October. Car is very stable through the water and breaking has never been a problem.
They are noisier than summer tyres but not really that intrusive.

I live in a very rural area, have done for years and although I haven't seen snow yet, I have seen a lot of wet and mud! These tyres give me better grip for wet muddy country lanes and the occasional off-road, when I meet something coming the other way that refuses to put a wheel up (usually 4x4's, don't get me started!).
They could do with being cheaper, I can only afford two!

warranty as I had an non repairable puncture to one of the tyres two weeks after fitting. The after sales service was excellent and I have recommended you to colleagues on this basis alone. Well done. I dealt with the Caernarfon outlet in North Wales
None so far.
