Bridgestone Turanza T005 DriveGuard tyres

The Bridgestone Turanza T005 DriveGuard is an excellent all round summer tyre, perfectly suited to a number of vehicles from family cars to executive cars. First designed in Europe, the Bridgestone Turanza T005 DriveGuard has taken over its predecessor the Turanza T001 Evo. Optimised Pattern 

The optimised pattern design helps reduce the risk of aquaplaning in wet weather conditions. Aquaplaning is the build-up of water between the tyres of the vehicle and the road surface. This can lead to a lack of traction between the road and the tyre resulting in loss of control. The optimised tyre pattern this allows the Bridgestone Turanza T005 DriveGuard to perform to its maximum ability in wet weather conditions, as the tyre disperses water through the high blocks in the shoulder and a wide gap in the centre. 

Unique Rubber Compound 

A unique and innovative rubber compound used within the tyre tread has been added to the Bridgestone Turanza T005 DriveGuard. The benefit of this is that it increases the handling ability of the tyre. The unique rubber compound absorbs water on the road coming into contact with the tyre, resulting in better traction with the road.   

Construction Of The Tyre 

The Bridgestone Turanza T005 Driveguard is has been engineered to be as robust as possible. under the rubber, the tyre is made up from steel strengthen handling and stiff polyester, making the tyre durable and reducing rolling resistance. This has resulted in the Turanza T005 DriveGuard receiving EU Label Grade A for wet grip and Grade B for rolling resistance.

DriveGuard Run-Flat Technology

The Bridgestone Turanza T005 DriveGuard boasts a number of different benefits, however one of the most visible advantages of this tyre is the The DriveGuard Run-Flat technology installed in the tyre. This ensures maximum protection against punctures and tyre damage, with the Run-Flat technology enabling you to carry on driving for another 80 km at speeds of up to 80 kph² in the event of tyre damage.
