Ultra-high performance from Pirelli P ZERO

The tread compound of the Pirelli P ZERO Corsa Asimmetrico tyre is an exclusive Pirelli composition, with silica and synthetic polymers, that provides increased grip. P Zero System is the ideal choice for conversions. Its racing construction offers superior torsional strength, grip and steering response under stress. The asymmetric design features a block pattern inner section, a central area with two continuous ribs and a semi-slick outer section.

This pattern may be suitable as Original Equipment for a number of different car manufacturers. If you are unsure what the symbols mean within the tyre search results, please head over to our tyre symbols guide.

I have only just our purchased the car which was fitted with budget tyres, I have never used budget tyres before so I decided to remove them and fit the tyre that Jaguar recommends, hence the four Pirelli's.

As these where recommended by Jaguar at this moment I have no reason to dislike anything about them.

These are the approved tyres for the car and a specific Mercedes spec so they should be good. They do a none Mercedes version of the tyre which is cheaper and every bit as good.

Good price and very good grip.

Lasted 18000 miles, would give up a bit of grip for longer wear.

Good compromise between grip and road noise.

Not quite as flexible as some of the competition which creates a slightly harsher ride.

when tyres are cold easy to loose grip during accelerating , once warmed up cant fault them. good grip on all road conditions, much quieter than last set of pirelli'. nice large kerb protection

5000 miles covered and wear down to 5mm, if you consider changing when recommended at 3mm be lucky to get 8000 miles

Fine while they lasted !

Pirelli P Zero were the original fitment on our All Road. First a front tyre failed, necessitating replacing the two front to keep them matched. This was followed by a rear tyre delaminating and shedding tread from the carcase. This happened at 24,000 miles when the tyres were barely half worn. Normally I get 40 -50 thousand miles from a set of tyres. Pirelli took the tyre back for examination and concluded that the separation was due to moisture coming through the tread and causing the tread to carcase bond to fail. Pirelli accepted no responsibility for the premature failure. The other rear tyre had to be replaced as it was also failing. Conclusion - Pirelli P Zero are fine if you only use them on clean, dry, well surfaced roads. !

Had them before and recommended for this car, no reason to change.

They tend to get a bit noisy as they get older (not these specific tyres yet of course), but based on the previous set they will.

Tyres are great for the price.

Fitters messed up the fitting and screwed up my sensors. Nothing bad about the tyres just the fitter

Having used Pirelli P Zero tyres on previous cars I’ve always been impressed with the quality and longevity of them which gives me confidence for continued usage.

The noise level is quite loud on road surface but not enough to put me off purchasing them.

Matching OEM tyres as fitted new for the 1st set. Seem to last around 18,000 miles, don't drive it hard.

Even when new they aren't as impressive in the wet as one would like

I've had Continentals and Dunlops on the Allroad as well - Dunlop the poorest and Pirelli the best by a margin for performance and mileage. High proportion of motorway driving is of course gentler on tyres, but I think 25000+ miles on a set is still impressive. And incidentally, a very good and friendly service (not for the first time) from National staff at Haddington.

I find nothing to dislike. Surprised the P Zeros are around the same price as other "premiums".

Whilst the tyres are fine, I was unhappy about the standard of fitting. The fitter had trouble getting the tyres off the alloy wheels so used a tyre wrench manually and ended up scratching the alloys which I had only recently had refurbished!!!
