The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is a premium summer tyre suited for ultra-high performance vehicles such as executive and sports cars. Replacing the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, the Super Sport comes with new and updated features.
Better Stability
The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is able to give better stability at higher speeds due to the Twaron Belt. This is achieved through variable tension that grips the centre of the tread, controlling the centrifugal forces and distributing them evenly.
Dual-Compound Technology
The tread is made up from two different rubber compounds on the inner and outer sides of the tread. The inner side consists of carbon black-reinforced elastomer, and the outer side consists of the latest generation of elastomer. This has a profound benefit on cornering, especially in wet conditions.
Optimum grip
Optimum grip is achieved through a variable contact patch that allows the tyre to be in constant contact with the road surface, enhancing grip whilst cornering or accelerating in a straight line.
This pattern may be suitable as Original Equipment for a number of different car manufacturers. If you are unsure what the symbols mean within the tyre search results, please head over to our tyre symbols guide.

Good for the price. Good compound. Wear decent for the mileage.
Would probably go for the PS4’s next. Should be a all round better rating from me.

I was really surprised how long my first set of pilots lasted considering the RS is front wheel drive, the pilots lasted well with very good grip, only tyres I’d use for this car
