The Jag is a heavy car but with a custom remap its pretty nippy, when you hammer it in to the corners with little or no braking the tyres stay firm and hold the road beautifully with no loss of control, they inspire real confidence and encourage you to get the most out of your engine and enable you to drive like a hooligan with no compromise on safety, even with last minuet hard braking and wheel spinning exceleration the handling and feed back is brilliant, you can red line every gear change knowing that these tyres will not let you down, they handle excellent in the wet and amazing control in the dry.

feel confident with them on my 2018 Mercedes C series AMG
The outside edge of tyre looked worn when fitted new, that for a moment I thought they were not new, other tyres I have had, the tread pattern seemed to have a better style and depth of tread and these lacked style. This is possibly just me, the tyres do the job and that is what matters and thinking of getting a front pair as well as only keep a car 18/24 months max: and Covid is holding me back with the stock at dealerships etc. and fronts will need replacing if I keep the car longer than anticipated because of Covid and mileage is very low now to my normal driving, hence little wear on tyres currently.

The tyres themselves seem OK, but the issues with having the tracking messed up by the fitting centre has overshadowed the positives of having new tyres.
I had the tracking done at the same time as the tyres were fitted. When I got the car back, the steering wheel was no longer straight, pointing to the right. I went back to have the tracking redone, and whilst there was some improvement the steering wheel is still not straight when travelling on straight roads. If I straighten the steering wheel whilst driving, the car moves to the left. Even when testing on the right-hand side of the road to exclude camber issues, the steering was still pointing to the right.

Car was factory fitted with Eagle F1 assy3 so these are the only ones fitted for 13 years now. Good quality I guess, didn't try others.
Thought assy 5 will be better than assy 3. Maybe, I can't decide. What I REALLLY DON'T LIKE compare to assy 3 is the rim protection. Its less than assy 3 and don't like how they look on the wheels. Will go back to assy 3 once these will need changing.

It needs a perfect wheel balance, unfortunately my was from mobile tyre fitting. Road where the van parked are not level which affected the wheel balance. The tyre was very rough, start shake when I drove on motorway, I have to rebalance all the tyres in a garage!

Wow! It's like a new car! Doesn't tramline, so much quieter, no bang wallop over anything other than a tiny stone, no constant rumbling. Steering feel is much better and lighter, noticeably quicker, whole car feels so much lighter. Tons of grip, less body roll. Amazing! No more run flats ever again for me.
