This is the first time I have used winter tires on my wife's car and the grip and confidence they give in both snow and icy conditions are very very good. In most instances these tires will easily cope with the snowy conditions here in the North East of Scotland. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone looking for sure footed motoring during the winter months.

None so far.

First time using Winter Tyres, put them on my main commuting car. These Continentals are excellent up to 8 or 9 °C, passed that they do become too soft, though they are supposed to as they're winter tyres. Having tested them properly in all conditions, including snow & ice, the conclusion is that they are far better than Summer tyres in such conditions, they really do make a huge difference to grip and braking. They seem to work best at around 0 to -2 °C.

Because of the crazy fluctuations in British weather and temperatures, they do wear a bit quicker when the temperature is above 7°C, though to be expected so not exactly a dislike. Used for their intended purpose, there is nothing to dislike about them.
