Bridgestone Turanza T005 tyres

Optimised Pattern 

The Bridgestone Turanza T005 boasts a number of different benefits, however, one of the most visible advantages of this tyre is the optimised pattern design helping reduce the risk of aquaplaning in wet weather conditions. Aquaplaning is the build-up of water between the vehicle's tyres and the road surface. This can lead to a lack of traction between the road and the tyre resulting in loss of control. The optimised tyre pattern allows the Bridgestone Turanza T005 to perform to its maximum ability in wet weather conditions as the tyre disperses water through the high blocks in the shoulder and a wide gap in the centre. 

Unique Rubber Compound 

A unique and innovative rubber compound used within the tyre tread has been added to the Bridgestone Turanza T005. The benefit of this is that it increases the handling ability of the tyre. The unique rubber compound absorbs water on the road coming into contact with the tyre, resulting in better traction on the road.   

Construction of the tyre 

The Bridgestone Turanza T005 has been engineered to be as robust as possible. Under the rubber, the tyre is made up of steel strengthened handling and stiff polyester, making the tyre durable and reducing rolling resistance. This has resulted in the Bridgestone Turanza T005 receiving EU Label Grade A for wet grip and Grade B for rolling resistance.
