The Bridgestone Potenza S001 is a summer tyre engineered for ultra-high performane. It is best suited for high performance saloon, sports and super cars, offering comfort, optimal performance and excellent safety. The Potenza S001 replaced the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A and with this upgrade comes exclusive features.
Fantastic grip levels
The Bridgestone S001 tyres exhibit an asymmetric tread pattern to deliver the perfect balance between dry handling and wet grip. The interlocking tread blocks on the outer tyre shoulder grip well on dry roads and allow for maximum handling characteristics. The continuous central circumferential rib contributes to precise steering responsiveness and heightened cornering response.
Extra driving stability
The Bridgestone S001 tyres internal structure consists of twin steel belts with nylon wrapping, which ensures high speed stability. This feature also reduces the rolling resistance, which makes fuel consumption more efficient, reducing the overall fuel costs.
Robust tyre sidewall
Active rubber inserts in the sidewall reinforces sidewall stiffness, which improves ride quality and offers greater grip when cornering. This also contributes towards increasing traction on both wet and dry surfaces, leading to greater braking responsiveness.
Protection against aquaplaning
The risk of skidding or losing control in wet weather conditions has been greatly reduced. The lateral grooves within the tread pattern help channel water away from the contact area to ensure a comfortable and stable drive.
This pattern may be suitable as Original Equipment for a number of different car manufacturers. If you are unsure what the symbols mean within the tyre search results, please head over to our tyre symbols guide.
