Ultra-high performance from Bridgestone DUELER H/L 33

The Bridgestone D33 tyres are part of Bridgestone’s high performance 4x4 Dueler range. All tyres in this range cater to the needs of a variety of 4x4 vehicles on varied surfaces. Bridgestone Tyres , one of the top tyre manufacturers in the world has a wide range of tyres for different types of vehicles. A popular Bridgestone product for small to medium cars for everyday driving purposes is the Bridgestone B250 tyre. For 4x4 luxury SUVs and light trucks, however, the Bridgestone D33 tyres are an excellent option. The tyres deliver a high level of comfort without compromising on performance. The tyres are designed for on road driving and have little or zero off road capabilities. The Bridgestone D33 tyres are summer tyres and not recommended for use on snow or icy surface conditions. The Bridgestone D33 tyres are the OE fitments for luxury SUVs such as Lexus RX350. The BridgestoneD33 tyres perform well on the following crucial tyre parameters – steering responsiveness, braking responsiveness and noise levels.

Steering responsiveness: Steering responsiveness refers to the ability of the tyres to transmit steering commands quickly to the road. Greater steering responsiveness means that you have greater control over the car while cornering at high speeds or during sudden manoeuvres undertaken to counter unexpected obstacles on the road. The Bridgestone D33 tyres tread pattern incorporates large tread blocks on the shoulder that contribute to increased steering responsiveness and improve the handling characteristics significantly.
Braking responsiveness: The Bridgestone D33 tyres are labelled in the class ‘B’ for wet grip as per the new EU tyre labelling regulations. This indicates shorter braking distances on wet asphalt (to complete standstill from a speed of 80km/hr) and is associated with increased safety. The wet grip classifications range from A to F, with ‘A’ standing for the shortest braking distance. The difference A class and F class can be over 18 metres.
Tyre noise levels: The tread profile is optimised to reduce noise levels significantly. In fact, the Bridgestone D33 tyres are labelled as emitting 69dB noise, placing the tyre is category ‘A’, which corresponds to the quietest tyres. So you are assured of a quiet and peaceful drive at all times.
Fuel efficiency: The Bridgestone D33 tyres greatly reduce rolling resistance to enhance the fuel economy and offer large cost savings on fuel in the long run. The tyres are labelled category ‘B’ for fuel efficiency, which uses 0.1litre per kilometre less fuel than tyres that are labelled C for this parameter.

This pattern may be suitable as Original Equipment for a number of different car manufacturers. If you are unsure what the symbols mean within the tyre search results, please head over to our tyre symbols guide.
