Labelling Information Key To New, Improved Cooper Tire Europe Website

31 Oct 2012

Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd has launched a brand new website, boasting a wealth of new product information and promoting greater user-friendliness.

Highlights of the all-new website, which can be found at the existing URL, include video features, a greater pool of product information and, importantly, a dedicated section explaining the new tyre labelling legislation.

The intuitive new layout of the website enables the user to navigate the site quickly and easily, providing easy-to-find, up-to-date information on Cooper’s latest tyre ranges.

Meanwhile, an enhanced dealer locator facility allows users to locate dealers by postcode across the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland with ease, while a dedicated tyre care area offers visitors advice and tips on a range of tyre-related issues.

Sarah McRoberts, European Marketing Communications Manager for Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd said, “I’m delighted that we now have a state-of-the-art website. It will provide customers with more in-depth detail on our products, while the new video features will bring the world of Cooper Tire to life.”

With the Government’s tyre labelling laws coming into effect from November 2012, Cooper’s section on the legislation and how it impacts customers is central to the revamped website. From next month, all car, truck, SUV and van tyres sold within the European Union must feature a tyre ‘label,’ which rates the tyre’s performance based on rolling resistance, exterior noise and wet grip.

Cooper Tire’s labelling section clearly explains the meaning of the different labels, providing the customer with an accurate understanding of the new legislation.

The new site also features a Cooper ‘My Drive’ section; here, Cooper drivers from a variety of backgrounds, from British F3 Champion – Jack Harvey – to Race2Recovery’s co-founder – Tony Harris – talk to Cooper about their experiences on the Company’s acclaimed rubber.

Showcasing Cooper’s array of offerings, both on- and off-road, the informative ‘tea break’ section aims to illustrate Cooper’s vast knowledge and expertise in a variety of areas and underlining why the firm is the brand of choice for so many.

The new website is now live and will be continuously updated with new videos, product features and much more.
