Changing a Tyre Made Easy on Ladies Night at National
27 Mar 2008
Ever wondered how to change a tyre but were too embarrassed to ask? Well get down to your local branch of National Tyres and Autocare in Grangemouth on Wednesday 2nd April for Ladies Night.
Staff will be on hand to show you the basics on changing tyres, checking tyre pressure and giving advice and tips to help keep you and your vehicle safe on the roads.
There will be a raffle and a huge selection of prizes including Continental tyres worth £250, go-karting passes, remote control helicopter, ski lesson and family swimming passes.
The Police Road Safety Department will be offering advice on road safety and Breast Screening UK will be present with information and advice on breast cancer screening.
The event is in aid of breast cancer and all funds raised during the evening will be donated to charity.
Gordon Laing, Branch Manager, commented “Ladies Night is a great way of getting women into the branch to see how their cars work and how they can carry out simple checks themselves. It’s a fun atmosphere and helps women to be confident that their vehicles are roadworthy. “
He added: “The event is for a good cause and the money raised in aid of cancer research will be a bonus. We call it Ladies Night, but anyone interested in coming along is of course welcome, including gentlemen!”
The event will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 2nd April in National Tyres and Autocare at Beancross Road, Grangemouth. Call the branch direct on 01324 471 616 for more information.
