Good price on the tyres I bought online, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They took great care not to damage my brand new alloy wheels. Gary Smith, the manager was very helpful as was Daniel Gill who fitted my tyres. He had driven up from Plymouth to help out at the branch this day. I live 2 mins from the Paignton branch but would rather go to the Newton Abbott branch to get my tyres fitted basically because of Gary Smith and his staff.

The manager was prepared to spend time with us explaining the coding associated with tyres and to list the possibilities for our car. The tyres were fitted promptly and the mechanics examined the rest of the car for flaws that would prevent it passing its MOT. There was such a flaw and they remedied the situation there and then to our satisfaction. The whole crew were both friendly and informative.

Excellent customer service. Purchased tyres through tyre shopper and arranged time and date for tyres to be fitted. However on arrival I was informed my tyres had not arrived despite being ordered over a week ago. Service manager Robert Grant was excellent he could not apologise enough and contacted the head office to try and sort the problem out which he did and arranged for a similar brand of tyre to be fitted at no extra cost well done Robert.

They did the job quickly and without fuss, using seat covers. They offered to order me parts that were not in stock and made me an appointment to have the work done at my convenience. Second time I've been to this centre and I was impressed. I ran fast fit centres for 15 years and credit where it's due. Clean tidy and welcoming just what I wanted.

I had taken my car to another garage after it developed a noise. After a two hour wait, I was advised that I needed an new exhaust system. Just to be on the safe side I popped into the Newton Abbot branch of National and spoke to the manager MIchael. Within seconds my car was up on the ramp and he diagnosed a small exhaust leak which was easily fixable with a sleeve costing just £12. More impressively, he further diagnosed the source of the irksome noise as a shot wheel bearing and he kindly showed me the problem on the wheel thereby reassuring me that it was indeed the problem. All was sorted the same day despite the fact that I had not brought the locking wheel nut with me! Outstanding service, and it saved me several hundred quid spent on a needless replacement exhaust. Not only do I recommend this garage to other non car tech savvy people like me but I will make a point of using MIchael again for work on all three of my vehicles. We'll done National, and well done MIchael! I would score you both 11 had I had the ability to do so!

The gentleman that served me, Michael Champion was excellent in dealing with my request, particularly as my visit was late on Sunday afternoon and the shop was about to close. However, he stayed to deal with my request, meaning I could travel home to London that evening. For this reason, I was very pleased with the customer service and would highly recommend the company.
