The Bridgestone T001 tyres are touring tyres from Bridgestone Tyres that deliver the best of various elements to make driving a true pleasure.

This improves traction and grip and wet surface and causes up to 3% reduction in the wet stopping distance over the Bridgestone ER300 tyres.

 

Handling Characteristics

Bridgestone’s famed R&D team has developed all new high-silica component tread compound for the Bridgestone T001 tyres, which is associated with greater safety and handling. The new tread compound imparts greater stiffness both laterally and longitudinally to the tyre, improving handling and enhancing the braking responsiveness.

 

Reduced Noise Levels

The Bridgestone T001 tyre’s carcass shape and structure is optimised for reducing the tyre noise levels. Special noise reduction grooves are incorporated into the tread pattern, making the tyre compliant with the future 2016 noise level legislation.

Greater Fuel Efficiency

The Bridgestone T001 tyres use Bridgestone’s innovative Nano Pro-Tec technology that reduces rolling resistance and enhances fuel economy in the process. This is no random claim and is substantiated with figures. Compared to the earlier generation Turanza tyres, the Bridgestone T001 tyres offer 2.3% greater fuel efficiency.

Tyre Durability

The Bridgestone T001 tyres have a more flat profile, which increases the contact area between the surface and the tread. So there is more uniform pressure distribution that reduces uneven tread wear. This contributes to tyre longevity.

Available Sizes

The Bridgestone T001 tyres are available in a wide range of sizes for fitment on 15-18 inch alloys. Currently about 40 sizes are available and these are slated to increase next year. And rightly so if the company intends to replace the Bridgestone ER300 tyres with these tyres.

The overall tyre structure is internally reinforced with bead structure, which also translates into greater external rigidity.
