Barum Bravuris 2 XL

Barum Bravuris 2 XL – High Performance at Great Prices!

The latest range of tyres from Barum Tyres, the Bravuris 2 XL tyres is built to provide high performance for every day driving and is specifically designed for saloon and sports cars.

The Barum Bravuris 2 XL tyre works well on both wet and dry surfaces and produces very little road noise.

Priced economically, the Barum Bravuris 2 XL delivers high performance on the roads and offers a smooth ride.

The tyres perform to satisfaction on various crucial tyre parameters like braking response, handling, tyre grip, noise levels and durability.

Braking Response

The tread of a tyre is the part that remains in contact with the road surface at all times and thus plays a crucial role in determining the braking response.

In case of the Barum Bravuris 2 XL, the tread has an irregular design that provides good traction on dry and wet surfaces, keeping your car firmly on the road.

Furthermore, the inner side of the tyre contains increased tread blocks that are optimised through a computer. This helps to provide excellent braking, especially on wet surfaces.

Superior Handling

The Barum Bravuris 2 XL tyres have a unique tread design that allows better handling at normal speeds. The increased number of treads on the inner side of the Bravuris 2 XL offers smooth and acceptable handling, enhancing the driver confidence and control.

Tyre Grip

The Bravuris 2 XL offers excellent grip and traction on the road in both wet and dry conditions at normal speeds.

Wet Weather Performance

In wet weather, a film of water forms between the tyre and the road. And if the tyres cannot adequately deflect the water, the vehicle may skid and you experience loss of control. This is called aquaplaning.

In the Barum Bravuris 2XL tyres, the circumferential grooves are wider than normal. This allows excess water to be removed from the treads. It reduces risk of hydroplaning or aquaplaning and guarantees superior wet weather performance.

Noise Levels

The Barum Bravuris 2 XL has very low road noise levels. Therefore, when travelling at normal to high speeds, you can enjoy a quieter and more comfortable ride that will go a long way to enhance your driving experience.

Wear Characteristics

The Barum Bravuris 2 XL is exceptionally durable and one of the very few tyres in the market that come with an extraordinary tread guarantee of 45,000 miles. The design of the tyre tread that consists of two steel belts on the inside surface is intrinsic to increasing the strength of the tyre.

In fact the same technology is also used in Barum Bravuris 2 tyres, another popular high performance tyre from Barum.

Thus the Barum Bravuris 2XL tyres last longer thereby allowing you to make a huge saving on tyre costs.

Available Sizes

The Barum Bravaris is available in a wide variety of sizes from 15" to 20" and tyre profiles that can fit in a varied range of vehicles.

When you are looking for superior driving comfort and excellent performance all year round, the Westlake SP06 tyres are one of the best options for you. Manufactured by Chinese tyre manufacturer Westlake Tyres, the Westlake SP06 tyres are popular touring tyres available in sizes for cars and minivans.

Having been in existence for close to half a century, Westlake Tyres has a presence in practically all tyre sectors. The popular Westlake RVH680 tyres for the passenger car segment are part of Westlake Tyres’ wide and impressive product portfolio.

Westlake SP06 Tyres- Impressive Performance on all Fronts

Westlake Tyres has an excellent track record in R&D investment resulting in innovative tyre technologies. The Westlake SP06 tyres, being the flagship product of the company naturally are endowed with superior technologies and consequently deliver superior performance on all fronts.

  • Steering Responsiveness

The irregular tread design of the Westlake SP06 tyres comprises several thin, but effective sipes. These sipes dig into the surface, enhancing traction and steering responsiveness. You will thus experience a smooth drive at all times, including while negotiating those tricky corners.

  • Safety on Wet Surface

The Westlake SP06 tyres contain 4 wide circumferential grooves which effectively perform the task of displacing water from the tread surface. Thus the area of contact with wet surface increases, reducing the risk of aquaplaning and minimising the chances of skidding on wet surfaces.

  • Reduced Noise Levels

The multi-pitch tread pattern of the Westlake SP06 tyres significantly reduces tyre noise levels. The presence of the tiny sipes also serves to muffle road noise, resulting in an overall quiet and peaceful ride.

  • High Speed Stability

The central rib of the Westlake SP06 tyre is long and solid and contributes much to keeping you stable on the roads. Even at high speeds, stability remains uncompromised, and you can drive ahead with confidence and peace of mind.

  • High Wear Resistance

The Westlake SP06 tyres are designed to minimise irregular tread wear. This increases the life of the tyres, making the tyres definitely value for money in the long run.

Features and Benefits of the Westlake SP06 Tyres

  • These are all season tyres, so you save time and money in not having to change tyres when the weather changes.
  • With superior aquaplaning resistance, you need not have any qualms about driving in wet weather.
  • Increased traction levels improve driving confidence and make for a comfortable driving experience.
  • Experience high performance levels on your car due to the assurance of maximum stability at high speeds.
  • Look forward to a quiet and relaxing drive at all times.

TYRE INFORMATION
Toyo OP/C HT Tyres

Toyo OP/C HT Tyres – For the Best Performance on Paved Roads

The Toyo OP/C HT tyres are SUV tyres from Toyo tyres suitable for vehicles that spend more time on road than off it.

This becomes all the more obvious from the tyre name itself, where OP/C HT stands for Open Country/ Highway Terrain tyres.

Japan based Toyo Tyres also offers all-terrain tyres for SUVs under the brand name – Toyo OP/C AT tyres, which exhibit a more aggressive tread design to cope with the rugged off road terrains.

Toyo OP/C HT Tyres – General Overview

The Toyo OP/C HT tyres are best suited for suburban road driving and highway driving. They are available in sizes to fit smaller luxury SUVs as well as larger workhorses, you may be using commercially.

With the Toyo OP/C HT tyres you can expect maximum ride comfort while driving on city roads and highways, accompanied by superior handling characteristics, increased wet safety parameters and reduced tyre noise. The tyres also prevent irregular tread wear and last for a long time before the need arises for replacing them.

Performance of the Toyo OP/C HT Tyres

  • Increased Steering Responsiveness

The unique tread pattern of the Toyo OP/C HT tyres maximises the contact patch of the tread with the surface, enhancing the steering responsiveness. This also increases the cornering stability, so that you can confidently make those sharp turns even at high speeds.

  • Greater Wet Safety

The circumferential grooves and lateral sipes present on the tread surface of the Toyo OP/C HT tyres serve as effective water displacement channels. As they quickly channelise water away from the tread, resistance to aquaplaning increases, enhancing your safety on wet roads.

  • Increased Traction

The tyres are associated with increased grip and traction on dry and wet surface. In fact the Toyo OP/C HT tyres provide adequate traction on light snow too. Because of the increased traction, the tyres stop much shorter as compared to their predecessors on all surfaces when brakes are applied.

  • Extended Tyre Life

The tread design is optimised to even out the tread wear, resulting in high performance for a long period of time.

  • Reduced Tyre Noise

Since the Toyo OP/C HT tyres are specific highway terrain tyres, meant for use mainly on paved roads, they exhibit a more shallow tread depth. Hence the sound of air passing through the tread grooves is minimised, resulting in reduced tyre noise. The ride smoothness is also increased ensuring a peaceful and comfortable ride.

Features and Benefits of the Toyo OP/C HT Tyres

  • Offers you one of the best driving experiences on suburban roads.
  • Suitable for light snow conditions too and so the tyres can be used all year round.
  • Greater wet safety increases driving confidence in wet weather.
  • You can look forward to a quiet comfortable drive.

Bridgestone ER30

Bridgestone ER30 Tyres – Combining High Performance with Superior Ride Quality

The Bridgestone ER30 tyres are high performance summer touring tyres from Bridgestone Tyres. Part of Bridgestone’s premium Turanza range, these tyres are best suited for older imported luxury vehicles.

Because they are touring tyres, the Bridgestone ER30 tyres offer precise handling and high levels of steering responsiveness, while keeping the ride quality smooth and noise levels minimum at all times. Additionally, the Bridgestone ER30 tyres perform exceptionally well in areas of safety such as stability, traction and wet weather performance.

The Bridgestone ER30 tyres are used as OE fitment on a range of luxury vehicles like the BMW, Mercedes and Porsche. The Bridgestone ER300 tyres, another product from the Turanza range are also seen popularly on these luxury vehicles as OE.

The Bridgestone ER30 Tyres – Performance Analysis

The Bridgestone ER30 tyres perform well on the following parameters.

  • Handling Characteristics

The large rectangular tread blocks on the tyre tread ensure precise handling on dry surface. The internal tyre structure is reinforced by polyester body plies, thereby enhancing steering responsiveness significantly, leading to greater control over the car. This is extremely useful for negotiating tricky turns at high speeds.

  • Wet Performance and Traction

The Bridgestone ER30 tyres tread profile incorporates 4 wide straight circumferential grooves that effectively deflect water from the contact surface. This action is further enhanced due to the presence of lateral grooves, resulting in a tyre that delivers exceptionally low risk of aquaplaning and enhances wet traction significantly.

  • Stable and Smooth Ride

The Bridgestone ER30 tyres feature a rayon or polyester cord body, which strengthens the tread and offers enhanced stability.

This reinforced construction along with the jointless cap ply, effectively absorbs the shocks generated in the course of the drive resulting in an amazingly smooth ride and takes the overall ride quality several notches higher.

  • Tyre Noise Levels

The USP of the Bridgestone Turanza range is its ability to deliver an exceptionally quiet drive, whether you are driving within the city or undertaking a long trip on the highway. The Bridgestone ER30 tyres tread design and construction is optimised to minimise noise levels and you can look forward to a quiet and peaceful drive at all times.

Available Sizes

The Bridgestone ER30 tyres are available in a wide range of sizes for 15-19 inch alloy fitments. The tyre diameters cover a wide range from 195mm to 285mm.

Features and Benefits of the Bridgestone E30 Tyres

  • You can look forward to an exceptionally smooth and quiet ride, befitting your luxury vehicle.
  • Handling is greatly improved and the precise steering responsiveness increases your driving confidence tremendously.
  • Assured safety on wet roads due reduced risk of skidding improved wet traction.

Goodyear Wrangler HP

Goodyear Wrangler HP Tyres – The Tough Tyres for Tough Terrains

The Goodyear Wrangler HP tyres are rough and tough 4x4 tyres from the Goodyear Tyres stable that can handle the toughest of terrains with relative ease. With superior performance both on road and off road, combined with a quiet ride these are your best choice if you are looking for tyres for your SUV if your regular usage covers considerable tough terrain.

The Goodyear Wrangler HP tyres are all-weather tyres - their tread compound offers superior traction all year round. The Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV tyres are also 4x4 tyres but they are exclusive summer tyres.

The HP in the tyre name stands for ‘High Performance’.

Goodyear Wrangler HP Tyres – What Makes them Special?

A lot of thought and consideration has gone into the design and development of the Goodyear Wrangler HP tyres resulting in a tyre that delivers all the necessary performance features essential in a high performance all weather SUV tyre. Let us consider some of the unique features of these tyres.

  • SmartTRED Weather Reactive Technology

This technology refers to the use of a highly sophisticated and intelligent tread compound that adapts its behaviour based on the weather conditions. So whatever the weather, you are always assured of high performance.

  • High Grip Tread Design

The Goodyear Wrangler HP tyres exhibit asymmetric tread design that incorporates large blocks on the wide outer shoulder, which enhance the contact surface and provide maximum grip on dry surface both on road an off it. In the central tread area of the Goodyear Wrangler HP tyres, there are circumferential grooves that are deep and wide. This tread pattern maximises grip on wet, slushy, slippery surface both on and off road.

  • Circumferential Grooves

The circumferential grooves are excellent channels for evacuating water from the tread area. The extra width and depth of these grooves and the presence of high grip sipes only makes it easier to do. And thus the aquaplaning resistance is maximum keeping you completely safe from losing control on any wet surface, whatever the nature of the terrain.

  • Twin Belts in Internal Structure

The internal tyre structure of the Goodyear Wrangler HP tyres is reinforced by twin belts, which confers stability while supporting high speed performance.

Available Sizes

The Goodyear Wrangler HP tyres are available in a range of sizes for fitment on 15-20 inch alloy disks.

Features and Benefits of the Goodyear Wrangler HP Tyres

  • One of the best tyres for your SUV if your regular commute includes both on and off road terrain.
  • Being all-weather tyres, you are saved the bother and expense of changing tyres when the season changes.
  • Enables you to drive confidently on the toughest of terrain because of the high grip levels that confer maximum control.

Yokohama G012 A/T-S

Yokohama G012 A/T-S Tyres: For Superior Performance On-Road and Off Road

The Yokohama G012 A/T-S tyres are tough terrain tyres that offer the best performance on road and off road too. These tyres are part of Yokohama Tyres’ Geolandar range of tyres suitable for 4x4s and SUVs that are used as rough and tough workhorses.

Yokohama Tyres , of course has a wide range of tyres covering all types of vehicles. For instance, for high powered, luxury SUVs, one of the best tyre options are the Yokohama Advan V802 tyres that guarantee maximum performance with high speed capability.

Yokohama G012 A/T-S Tyres – Performance

  • Maximum Driving Control

The Yokohama G012 A/T-S tyres are equipped with an advanced and well though-out tread pattern that maximises traction on road, while ensuring maximum control in off road driving conditions. The tread profile comprises large wide sculpted tread blocks on the outer tyre shoulder that maximise handling on dry surface. The intermediate blocks exhibit a rounded edge, while the blocks in the central portion of the tread are staggered. All these tread elements in combination with the silica intensive tread compound come together and create a sense of enhanced driving control that maximises the pleasure of the drive both on road and off road.

  • Reduced Tyre Noise

4x4s can create deafening tyre noise. The Yokohama G012 A/T-S tyres guard against this by arranging the intermediate tread blocks in a 5 pitch variation pattern. This pattern creates noise of opposing frequencies that cancel each other out. Thus tyre noise generated is minimal.

  • Extended Tyre Life with Uniform Wear

Traversing tough terrain, the Yokohama G012 A/T-S tyres are exposed to potential tread damaging conditions continuously. However, strong sidewall protectors protect the tread from cuts and abrasions, increasing the tyre life.

Additionally, the intermediate tread blocks feature pyramid shaped zig-zag 3D sipes, which confer extra rigidity to the tread. So there is less block deformation under stress, reducing the chances of irregular tread wear. Uniform tread wear, obviously increases tyre life.

  • Exceptional Off Road Traction

In between the tread blocks of the Yokohama G012 A/T-S tyres are present unique ‘multi-step’ grooves, which are responsible for the tyres’ superb off road traction. These grooves effectively clear away the mud and dirt from the tread and offer superb comfort and control on off road surfaces.

Features and Benefits of the Yokohama G012 A/T-S Tyres

  • One of the best options for your rugged 4x4 if you regularly use it both on and off road.
  • Enhanced wet safety due to circumferential grooves that channel water away from the tread.
  • Tyre noise is minimal making for a peaceful ride.
  • Extended tyre life enhances the value-for-money proposition of these tyres.

And to ensure that these benefits of the Goodyear EffiicentGrip tyres are available to maximum vehicles, the company has also launched the Goodyear EfficientGrip XL tyres for load reinforced applications and more recently the Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV tyres for SUVs and 4x4s.

Goodyear EfficientGrip Tyres - Performance

  • Enhanced Handling Characteristics

The tread pattern of the Goodyear EfficientGrip tyres exhibits a number of biting edges, which enhance the grip, leading to improved handling characteristics and increased cornering stability. Increased grip also means reduced braking distances, contributing to the overall safety.

  • Greater Safety in Wet Surface

The tread design of the Goodyear EfficientGrip tyres has a unique blade arrangement that has the effect of efficiently sweeping water away from the tread. This ensures maximum contact between the tyre and wet surface, reducing the hydroplaning risk. Thus you have maximum control on the car and wet safety is assured with the Goodyear EfficientGrip tyres.

  • Quiet Ride

The Goodyear EfficientGrip tyres incorporate the QuietTred technology which includes a closed shoulder design and increased pitches and optimised rib design to reduce the external noise levels. As a result, you can look forward to a peaceful and quiet ride.

  • Higher Fuel Efficiency

The Goodyear patented ‘fuel saving’ technology is based on using materials and technology in tyre construction to create a light weight structure. Also the advanced tread compound used in the Goodyear EfficientGrip tyres has inherent low rolling resistance. These two factors combine together to make the tyres highly fuel efficient and less polluting in every single journey you make.

  • Tyre Durability

The advanced tread compound is silica intensive, which confers longer life on the tyres, making the tyres extra durable.

Features and Benefits of the Goodyear EfficientGrip Tyres

  • Highly fuel efficient tyres which lead to overall fuel cost savings.
  • Environment friendly tyres which reduce your personal carbon footprint by making your vehicle emit less carbon dioxide. You can feel proud about that.
  • Tyre tread design maximises safety on wet surface.

Bridgestone T001

Bridgestone T001 Tyres – For the Pleasure of Driving

The Bridgestone T001 tyres are touring tyres from Bridgestone Tyres that deliver the best of various elements to make driving a true pleasure.

The Bridgestone T001 tyres bring forth the most optimal combination of performance, safety, comfort and efficiency for passenger cars ranging from compact cars to premium saloons.

The tyres launched in the early half of 2012 belong to Bridgestone’s premium Turanza range and are being considered as a gradual replacement for the current (soon to be ex) star of the range – the Bridgestone ER300 tyres.

Bridgestone T001 Tyres – Performance

The Bridgestone T001 tyres are exceptional performers in areas of safety- particularly wet safety, handling, comfort and efficiency.

Wet Safety

The unique tread pattern of the Bridgestone T001 tyres incorporates an asymmetric multi-rib design that exhibits wide grooves. These grooves act as efficient water evacuation channels to provide high resistance to aquaplaning. This improves traction and grip and wet surface and causes up to 3% reduction in the wet stopping distance over the Bridgestone ER300 tyres.

Handling Characteristics

Bridgestone’s famed R&D team has developed all new high-silica component tread compound for the Bridgestone T001 tyres, which is associated with greater safety and handling. The new tread compound imparts greater stiffness both laterally and longitudinally to the tyre, improving handling and enhancing the braking responsiveness.

Reduced Noise Levels

The Bridgestone T001 tyre’s carcass shape and structure is optimised for reducing the tyre noise levels. Special noise reduction grooves are incorporated into the tread pattern, making the tyre compliant with the future 2016 noise level legislation.

Greater Fuel Efficiency

The Bridgestone T001 tyres use Bridgestone’s innovative Nano Pro-Tec technology that reduces rolling resistance and enhances fuel economy in the process. This is no random claim and is substantiated with figures. Compared to the earlier generation Turanza tyres, the Bridgestone T001 tyres offer 2.3% greater fuel efficiency.

Tyre Durability

The Bridgestone T001 tyres have a more flat profile, which increases the contact area between the surface and the tread. So there is more uniform pressure distribution that reduces uneven tread wear. This contributes to tyre longevity.

Available Sizes

The Bridgestone T001 tyres are available in a wide range of sizes for fitment on 15-18 inch alloys. Currently about 40 sizes are available and these are slated to increase next year. And rightly so if the company intends to replace the Bridgestone ER300 tyres with these tyres.

Reinforced XL versions of the tyres are also available.

Features and Benefits of the Bridgestone T001 Tyres

  • Best combination of performance safety and comfort to enhance driving pleasure at all times.
  • Greater fuel efficiency reduces your carbon footprint and increases your cost savings.
  • Clearly the ‘tyre of the future’ with noise levels complying with future standards.
  • Enhanced safety and handling on all surfaces.
  • Peace and quiet ride contributes to improved ride quality and comfort.

Michelin Latitude Tour Tyres – Bundled with Technology for Maximum Performance

The Michelin Latitude Tour tyres from French tyres conglomerate Michelin Tyres are 4x4 tyres for SUVs and Crossovers.

SUV drivers looking for fuel efficiency that does not compromise on performance and ride comfort will be very happy with these tyres.

Michelin, one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers has long been associated with innovative tyre technologies and the Michelin Latitude Tour tyres exhibit a variety of technologies that maximise their performance in all areas.

To ensure that the benefits of these tyres are available for maximum vehicles, Michelin has also launched the load reinforced version - the Michelin Latitude Tour XL tyres, also available in the run flat version- the Michelin Latitude Tour XL Runflat tyres.

The Michelin Latitude Tour tyres are all-season tyres and provide good traction all year round including in light snow. However they are mostly on road tyres, not suitable for rugged off road applications.

Michelin Latitude Tour Tyres – Technologies

The Michelin Latitude Tour tyres are fortified with the following technologies that deliver performance.

  • Michelin Max Touch Construction Technology

This technology aims to maximise the miles delivered by the tyres despite tread wear. Thus the Michelin Latitude Tour tyres last long.

  • Green X Technology

More a Michelin tyre standard than a technology, all Michelin Green X tyres, including the Michelin Latitude Tour tyres are associated with enhanced fuel efficiency. This obviously reduces fuel costs and is more environment friendly.

  • Michelin Comfort Control Technology

This technology refers to the computer optimisation of tread blocks and the use of precision manufacturing which results in reduced noise and increased comfort associated with the Michelin Latitude Tour tyres.

Other Performance Features of the Michelin Latitude Tour Tyres

  • Improved Handling Characteristics

The Michelin Latitude Tour tyres exhibit a symmetric tread design with stable shoulder blocks. These maximise contact on dry surface, conferring exceptional handling characteristics and cornering stability to the tyres. The presence of a stabilising central rib adds to responsiveness and highway stability.

  • Greater Confidence on Wet Surfaces

The tread pattern of the Michelin Latitude Tour tyres contains wide circumferential grooves that enhance aquaplaning resistance and improve confidence on wet surface. Due to greater grip and traction these tyres stop 5% shorter on wet surfaces as compared to their predecessors.

  • Greater Fuel Efficiency

The use of silica intensive compound that reduces rolling resistance increases the fuel efficiency of the Michelin Latitude Tour tyres.

  • High Speed Capability

The presence of twin steel belts and nylon wrap within the tyre carcass reinforce the tyre structure internally, enabling high speed capability and stability.

Features and Benefits of the Michelin Latitude Tour Tyres

  • Power packed with technologies for your benefit.
  • Improved handling characteristics make the drive exhilarating.
  • Assured safety on wet surface adds to driving confidence.
  • Fuel efficiency and increased durability are cost saving factors.
